Pastors Pedro and Carmen Valladares have dedicated their lives to serving the Lord and shepherding the church God has entrusted to their care. United by God’s calling, they have faithfully ministered to men, women, youth, and children, leading them to know Jesus Christ and grow in His Word.

Pastor Pedro Valladares answered God’s call to come to North Carolina with the purpose of preaching the gospel and establishing a congregation where Christ would be the center of everything. Throughout the years, he has remained steadfast in the vision God placed on his heart, leading the church with faith, perseverance, and complete dependence on the Holy Spirit. His love for God’s Word and his desire to see lives transformed have been the foundation of his ministry, inspiring others to draw closer to the Lord and live according to His will. With a servant’s heart, he has faithfully cared for the congregation through times of joy, need, and hardship, reflecting the pastoral care the Lord has entrusted to him.

Pastor Carmen Valladares has faithfully served the Lord in many areas of ministry, distinguished by her love, patience, and servant’s heart. For many years, she has led the church in praise and worship, guiding the congregation to worship God with sincerity and devotion. Her love for children has also been a significant part of her ministry. With patience, kindness, and dedication, she has taught God’s Word, planting biblical truths in the hearts of countless children and helping them come to know and love the Lord from an early age. The spiritual foundation she has helped build continues to bear fruit in their lives. Her compassion and commitment have touched generations, reflecting the love of Christ to everyone she has had the privilege of serving.

Together with their son, Pedrito Valladares, they continue to serve the Lord with love, humility, and dedication. Their greatest desire is that every person who comes to Jesús Rey de Gloria will come to know Christ, grow in faith, and experience the love of God. As a pastoral family, they give all honor and glory to the Lord for every life that has been transformed and for all that He continues to do through His church.
